Terms of Sale & Use

We develop Almirath. Purchases on this website are processed by Polar Software, Inc. (“Polar”), which acts as reseller and merchant of record: Polar is the seller to you, charges your payment method, issues your receipt and collects any sales tax or VAT. Polar’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase. We are responsible for the game itself, its delivery and support.

• A personal licence to the edition you bought, under the EULA.
• A DRM-free download of the current build for the platforms listed on the product page.
• All future updates to the base game, including the full release, at no extra cost.
• Editions differ only in the extras listed on the product page; every edition includes the full game.

One purchase is one licence for one person.

Almirath is in early alpha. It is unfinished: expect bugs, performance problems and missing content. Features, balance and content may change or be removed during development, and worlds saved in older builds may not carry over to newer ones. Please buy the game for what it is today, not for features we may add later — our plans can change.

The price and any tax are shown at checkout. The early access price is expected to rise as development progresses. A later price increase doesn’t affect what you already bought, and if the price drops later, for example during a sale, we don’t refund the difference.

When Almirath launches on Steam, we intend to give everyone who bought it on this website a Steam key at no extra cost. A Steam release depends on Valve and is not guaranteed: you are buying the game from this website, not a Steam key. If we can’t provide a key, you keep your access and all updates here.

After payment Polar emails you a receipt with access to your downloads; new builds appear in the same place. If you lose access, write to support@almirathgame.com from the email you used at checkout.

Check the requirements on the product page before buying. If you’re not sure your computer can run the game, ask us first.

Almirath is made for adults. By buying it you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.

The wiki and the Seed Map describe the current build and may be out of date or inaccurate. Don’t attack, overload or bulk-scrape the website. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

The website and its content are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using the website. The game is covered by the warranty and liability terms of the EULA. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. The version in force when you bought applies to that purchase.
