End User License Agreement
This agreement is between you and the developer of Almirath (“we”, “us”). By installing or playing the game you accept it. If you don't agree, don't install the game and ask for a refund under our Refund Policy.
Your licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, install and play Almirath on computers you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. Making videos and streams is allowed as described on our Copyright & Creators page. The game is licensed to you, not sold; we keep all rights not expressly granted here.
What you may not do
- Sell, rent, share or redistribute the game, its builds, download links or keys.
- Copy or extract the game’s art, models, music, sounds or other assets for use outside the game.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the game, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
- Remove or change copyright or licence notices.
- Use cheats, exploits or modified clients to disrupt sessions hosted by other players.
- Use the game for anything unlawful.
Mods
Almirath supports mods. You may make and share mods for free and non-commercially, as long as they don’t contain the game’s original files and comply with the law. You own the mods you make.
Mods with native plugins run code on your computer with the same permissions as the game. Install only mods you trust: we don’t review third-party mods and aren’t responsible for them, and we can’t guarantee that mods keep working after updates.
Online play
Multiplayer sessions are hosted by players. We don’t run game servers and don’t moderate sessions; hosts decide who plays in their worlds. Treat other players with respect. What other players can see about you online is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Updates
We may release updates that add, change or remove features, and we may stop supporting older builds. Updates are delivered through the place you got the game.
Third-party components
The game includes open-source software and fonts made by others. They are licensed under their own terms, listed in THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.txt and the licence files that come with the game; those terms apply to those components.
Ownership
Almirath — its name, logo, world, characters, story, code, art, music and sounds — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.
Termination
This licence ends automatically if you break this agreement, and then you must delete the game. The sections on ownership, warranty and liability continue to apply after it ends.
No warranty
Almirath is an early access game provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don’t promise the game will be free of errors or that your saved worlds will be preserved. Back up your saves.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or for lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the game. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited by law or the rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Changes and contact
We may update this agreement; the date at the top shows the current version. Questions: support@almirathgame.com.
